What This Can Feel Like

  • You want to talk about closeness but do not know how to begin.
  • You and your partner experience desire differently.
  • Questions about sexuality need room without judgment.
  • Affection and emotional connection feel hard to discuss.

How We Work With It

Closeness can mean different things to different people.

Talking about intimacy can bring feelings that are difficult to put into words. Jazmine works warmly and collaboratively, making room for each person’s perspective rather than one right way to experience closeness. A strengths-based approach includes what you value about connection as well as what feels difficult. You can discuss affection, desire, differences, and sexuality as part of individual or couples therapy, at a pace set together.

Her practice is LGBTQIA+-affirming. A systemic and decolonizing approach considers culture, identity, relationships, and the expectations around intimacy. EFT gives attention to feelings and needs beneath familiar exchanges; attachment-based work considers how experiences of connection shape the way you reach for closeness. These ideas support conversation and understanding. The work stays grounded in what you bring, without asking your relationship or sexuality to fit a single model.

Room for What You Bring

You may want to explore sexuality on your own or talk with a partner about what intimacy means between you. Individual work makes room for your perspective. In couples therapy, both partners attend together, with attention to emotional and relational connection as well as differences.

What Can Shift

  • Space to put words to what closeness means to you.
  • Room to discuss desire and differences with care.
  • Space for honest conversations about affection and exploring sexuality.
