Hello, I’m Jazzy

You can show up as your full self.

Hello! My name is Jazmine (Jazzy), and I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, with an emphasis on helping you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I have experience working with teens, adults, couples, and families across outpatient, school-based, and community settings. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship and family challenges, identity development, stress, and trauma-related concerns. I am especially passionate about helping clients understand themselves in the context of their relationships, families, and environments. Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading and being a cat mom to my tuxedo cat, Panda.

Why This Work Matters

Collective healing and room to become.

Through my relationship with my identities as a Lumbee Native American and African American woman, I have come to appreciate the value of collective healing and the importance of having a space where your voice is heard and your experiences are seen. In my graduate program at the University of Maryland, I had the opportunity to help curate spaces where people do not have to choose between who they were and who they are. This is one in the same. I hope to offer this experience to others and help them grow into who they want to be, based on who they are and what they have experienced.

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading and being a cat mom to my tuxedo cat, Panda.
