There Is Room for the In-Between

Life Transitions

Change can hold relief, grief, hope, fear, or all of them at once. Therapy offers space to notice what this transition is asking of you and what you want to carry forward.

What This Can Feel Like

  • A life transition leaves you unsure how to describe what you are feeling.
  • You keep moving on autopilot while your life is changing.
  • You push through the change instead of slowing down to feel it.
  • Shifting relationships bring familiar patterns into a different part of your life.

How We Work With It

You can slow down while life is changing.

A change in your life can bring questions about your relationships and your sense of self at the same time. Jazmine works collaboratively, giving attention to what this transition brings up rather than asking you to decide immediately what comes next. A strengths-based approach includes the connections and ways of responding that already matter to you. Sessions can make room to slow down and talk about what you want to carry forward from your experiences.

Her systemic and decolonizing approach considers the people, family roles, culture, and environments connected to the change. The conversation is not limited to how you are managing on your own. Care is LGBTQIA+-affirming, with room for identity and relationships as part of the transition. You and Jazmine set the pace together as you consider what feels unfamiliar, what still matters, and where you want more connection with yourself or the people around you.

What Can Shift

  • Slow down and notice what this change brings up for you.
  • Make room to reconnect with yourself and the people who matter to you.
