You Do Not Have to Keep Pushing

Anxiety and Burnout

Anxiety and burnout can make even rest feel like another task. Therapy offers a place to understand what your mind and body have been carrying, without pressure to move faster than feels right.

What This Can Feel Like

  • You are running on anxiety and burnout, even when there is room to rest.
  • You keep pushing through feelings that are hard to name.
  • Life feels like autopilot rather than something you are present for.
  • You say you are fine while feeling overwhelmed and disconnected.

How We Work With It

Room for rest, without another demand.

When you are tired of being anxious and overwhelmed, another list of things to do can feel like more pressure. Jazmine works collaboratively, starting with what you are carrying and what you want to understand. A strengths-based approach gives attention to what already helps you, without asking you to keep pushing through the parts that feel difficult. There is room to talk about emotions, rest, and boundaries rather than treating them as tasks to complete.

Her systemic and decolonizing approach considers the expectations and relationships around you, including family, culture, and your environment. The conversation can include what leaves you stretched thin and how those demands affect your connection to yourself. Care is LGBTQIA+-affirming, so identity is part of the context, not something to leave out. You and Jazmine set the pace together as you look underneath the overwhelm.

What Can Shift

  • Look at what is underneath the overwhelm, not just what needs to get done.
  • Consider what rest could look like without making it another demand.
  • Talk through boundaries and the expectations that leave you stretched thin.
