Feeling Like Yourself Again
Signs You May Be Running on Burnout
You may be getting through the day while feeling there is little left for yourself. Rest might not feel restful, and ordinary demands can feel harder to carry. These experiences can be reasons to pay attention, but a guide cannot tell you whether you have burnout. You do not need a label to discuss feeling worn down.

Doing Everything Can Hide the Strain
You may still answer messages, keep commitments, and take care of practical responsibilities. That does not mean the effort feels manageable. Looking capable from the outside can make it harder to explain how much you are carrying. You can talk about the strain without waiting until you can no longer do those things.
Rest May Come With More Demands
A break can fill up with unfinished tasks, guilt, or thoughts about what comes next. More time off is not always something you can simply choose. It is worth considering the expectations around your rest as well as the time available. This is not another standard you need to meet or perform correctly.
Boundaries Have a Context
You might want to say no and still worry about what that means for work, family, or relationships. Advice to set a boundary can miss those pressures. You can consider what feels possible in your circumstances, including what you cannot change right now. Needing more room does not make your existing responsibilities unimportant.
You Can Bring Overwhelm to Therapy
Jazmine works with anxiety, burnout, and stress in individual and teen therapy. You can talk about what sits underneath the overwhelm and the patterns around rest, expectations, and connection. Her systemic approach considers relationships and environment alongside your experience. Therapy is not a promise that every demand disappears or that you will feel different by a deadline.
If You Want to Talk
This guide is not a substitute for therapy. You can bring these questions to Jazmine without having a finished explanation.
