Couples and Relationships
Is Couples Therapy Right for Us?
You do not have to wait for a relationship to fall apart before considering couples therapy. You might want a different way to talk, more room for affection, or help understanding a pattern you both recognize. Being curious about support does not mean you have already decided what happens next.

You Can Bring More Than Conflict
You may care about each other and still feel disconnected. Practical conversations can take up all the room, leaving little time for intimacy or shared understanding. Couples therapy can include attachment, conflict, intimacy, and exploring sexuality. You do not need to turn every concern into an argument before it deserves attention.
Both Perspectives Belong in the Conversation
You and your partner may describe the same moment differently. One person may want more conversation while the other wants time to think. Neither description tells the whole story by itself. Talking together can make room for what each person means, rather than deciding whose account is the only one that matters.
Readiness Can Look Different
You may be ready to talk while your partner is uncertain about therapy. That difference is worth discussing without treating hesitation as a lack of care. You can ask what each person wants to understand about the process. A consultation is a place to bring those questions, not a commitment to begin sessions.
Support Is Not a Verdict
You do not have to arrive with a decision about the future of your relationship. Jazmine draws on attachment-based work, EFT, and the Gottman Method within a warm, collaborative approach. Couples therapy is not a promise about staying together or separating. Your concerns, differences, and choices remain part of the conversation. You can ask about the way of working and say when something does not match what you hoped to discuss.
If You Want to Talk
